DNA-molecular beacons with faster & more specific binding properties are the core of miacom's beacon-based Fluorescence in-situ Hybridization (bbFISH) technology. Our "lucesco Panels" enable rapid, simple and accurate identification of >95% of clinically relevant pathogens on one microscope slide. Alternatively, "lucesco Screens" are designed to enable low cost detection of a single bacterial species. In all tests, clear and unambigious fluorescence signals from morphologically intact pathogens (lucesco: lat. "make it bright") enable target identification.
